Exactly how I can configure my microphone USB Pro Tools LE 8?

Ok, so I have a AT2020 and has a USB port on the end so that can connect to the computer, I can not connect to my Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini, because it has an XLR microphone input. Therefore, I can record my microphone by computer, but it sucks. Currently, the guitar center employee told me that I can not connect the Mbox 2 Mini, but I can get tools pro to recognize and use 48V phantom power on the mbox is the same as what is plugged into the Mbox 2 Mini. I think the guy told me to go the installation of Pro Tools, then E / S, and then forgot? Any help or advice? Thank you.

Pro Tools is able to recognize a connection USB MIDI any port in use on the computer. However, the microphone audio signal output. No lunch. Guitar Center employee is bad. There are lots of free videos from YouTube in Pro Tools LE and you should try to see one per day, are born for me to constantly learn something Pro Tools. However, consulting the manual to know what to do when you do not understand how to do something.
